It would be nice to easily and safely access businesses in Bushnell's Basin. Thank you!

I am very worried about any pedestrians that I've see walk this road. Using the side streets is simply not good enough and does not sufficiently cover the risks posed.

A sidewalk would encourage a lot of locals to walk instead of drive- and be much safer for everyone. Thank you for your consideration.

That bend! Sidewalks would be a most welcomed addition for the safety of both walkers & drivers.

I commute to work by bike often and need to take this curve every morning. I agree, it's a dangerous section of road. A sidewalk here would be an absolute game changer for all of the neighborhoods looking for safe, easy access to the Basin. Thanks, Eric.

There are just a few "key" areas that Sidewalks would be awesome and make navigating by bike and by foot around the town of Pittsford so much easier and safer.
Thornell Rd is one. From Basin to East St.
Second from Woodstone Rise to Rte 64. Third is East Streeet from Thornell to Route 96. Last is two sections one on Railroad Mills, extend sidewalk from Old Forge to connect with Auburn Trail. Then do a real sidewalk path from Auburn Trail at Woolston and build a nice wide walkable and bikeable path into Powdermill Park on opposite side from the ski hill.

I love this idea! We just moved here about a year ago and now have a baby that we would love to take on walks but Thornell is too risky for us.

My two children grew up on Thornell Rd, and I NEVER allowed them to walk or even ride a bike along that bend, and always called attention to the blindness of it! PLEASE run the side walks up the road, and allow EVERYONE the opportunity to enjoy everything that the basin now has to offer. Thanks Joe

This curve is dangerous! Not sure if it's Pittsford or Perinton's problem, but it sure is a problem. Fixing it now will be far less expensive than dealing with the aftermath of a tragedy. Hope they rectify immediately.

Protect those bikers and walkers wishing to use Thornell Road before a serious injury occurs in this stretch of road. Be proactive on safety, not reactive.

I completely agree. The Basin has turned into a very appealing spot. Locals like myself enjoy it and like "walking" to it. Thornell rd is a very busy road. Having sidewalks would increase the safety for pedestrians and motorists alike. Thanks Joe
