Do not change the name of my High School. Thomas Jefferson was a man of his time. To now compare his legacy to the ephemeral standards of today is a great injustice to his legacy. What will happen when the standards are changed again in the future?
Thomas Jefferson is one of our founding fathers, and as such should have schools, buildings, and roads named after him, and his life taught at all schools. He does not deserve to be cancelled by today's "enlightened" populace.

'74
Have toured his home and library. He was a smart man, worked hard for our country. He owned slaves but treated them very well. Cannot change history, but learn from it. Must judge him from the era, not todays standards.
