this madness must stop. Gh Police must make sure the men they recruit are properly screened and if possible taken to the Army Recruit Training Centre to be trained and not the Police Training School or their Instructors should be from the Army.

I had similar experience in 2005 at Madina Police station where someone who assaulted my pregnant wife boasted he has bribed the police and nothing was going to happen you know how people ho claim to 'bribe' others speak. I promised him that both the alleged police bribe takers and him will not rest because they chewed wrong person. Indeed the two police investigators called Henry and Batung told me they could not locate the docket. I had to sacrifice some of my lectures then at Univ of Ghana to pursue them. After 47 visits to Madina Police Station without any serious work other than asking me to withdraw the case, I petitioned then Crime Officer that I 've given Madina Police Station 2 weeks to locate the docket else i was suing the Police, the Crime Officer called the two in my presence and told them I gave him 2 weeks and he was also given them 5 days to bring the docket to him. within 2 days they uncovered it and justice was served. They NEVER knew when the statement form was given to my wife i photocopied it after she wrote it and i photocopied the medical report before returning the statement before returning the medical report to them all because I was already aware of how some policemen/women conduct themselves. So while they were beating about that the docket was missing i had the full report- though photocopy. I will always mention Henry and Batung's names for making my pregant wife to walk more than 47 times to Madina Police Station just because they were 'NEGLIGENT' to put it mildly. Sometimes we ougtht to be BOLD and confront people who shirk their responsibilities and the worse of all is when they DEMAND money to do what they 're legally bound to do. Why should I part with my public service meagre salary to pay bribe to another public officer? #thismadnessmuststopindeed!

justice and do otherwise it is nothing but perjury....., you have triumph over injustice congratulations!!!
