from wikipedia.org: "The Village is an XM Satellite Radio channel that specializes in folk music, described by XM as 'from the ballads of early American songwriters to the contemporary masters of folk.'" --------------------------------------------------- I initially established this petition in 2008 thinking the merger between satellite radio services XM and Sirius might remove niche (music) channels and either place them online or discontinue them altogether. Please email all your satellite radio friends, folk (and overall) music lovers of this petition by clicking on the 'email friends' tab. Thank you. Please sign if you are for placing this unique music channel back on the satellite instead of just online. Thank you.
