Many of us are realizing the destruction of the bush tax cuts and
free trade agreements that have been passed in the last 8 years.
Our unemployment rate has jumped 3% nationally since 2003 due to jobs being shipped overseas and tax breaks we can't afford, lining the pockets of Corp. America. Corporations are enjoying the lowest corporate tax rates in history while at the same time boasting record profits, the GOP and their supports are complaining about the lowest tax rates in history and the rest of us are fighting to survive.
To make matters worse, the numbers that our government is using to gauge their comments and actions regarding the jobs crisis aren't even accurate. Once you have exhausted your unemployment benefits you are no longer counted as "part of the unemployment rate".
How many of you out there are still looking for work daily after multiple years of unwanted unemployment with no source income to support your family, no good jobs with livable wages?
