Our unemployment rate has jumped 3% nationally since 2003 due to jobs being shipped overseas and tax breaks we can't afford, lining the pockets of Corp. America. Corporations are enjoying the lowest corporate tax rates in history while at the same time boasting record profits, the GOP and their supports are complaining about the lowest tax rates in history and the rest of us are fighting to survive.
To make matters worse, the numbers that our government is using to gauge their comments and actions regarding the jobs crisis aren't even accurate. Once you have exhausted your unemployment benefits you are no longer counted as "part of the unemployment rate".
How many of you out there are still looking for work daily after multiple years of unwanted unemployment with no source income to support your family, no good jobs with livable wages?
Let's show them what the True Unemployment Rate is!

I honestly cannot believe how many people are seeing this and feeling the same frustration because it felt like I was screaming into the void alone for a long time. It is wild to see that so many of you are stuck in this exact same trap of invisible statistics and I really hope we can force them to look at the real damage being done right now.

my husband has been lookin for work for 2 years and since his benefits ran out he doesnt even exist to the gov. this is so corrupt.
STOP SHIPPING OUR JOBS AWAY AND FIX THIS MESS.

Finally someone said it. The numbers are totally fake to make the admin look better. People are hurting out here and nobody cares.
