Yet again football with its millions of funding ruins other sports. Hockey grade and multi sport pitches can be shared with football and hockey but not 3g! When will councils and the FA learn! Best of luck with your campaign.

Hockey is a sport that should be given the same access as football. Turning it into a football pitch is just making it more difficult for people to play.

There's enough football pitches in this god forsaken country as it is. Our hockey pitch in Yeovil is suitable for football and hockey. Ensure any new developments cater for both sports.

The same happened to our club, we know have a 30 minute journey to our nearest pitch to play our home games and train.

We (Mendip Hockey Club), have had to go through this exact same thing. When are the people who make these decisions going realise that they are destroying not encouraging sports for all. I hope you have success.

Football can afford to put in artificial pitches all around the country. Hockey cannot! I hope they see sence and put I a pitch that all sports can use and not just 1!!

Hockey is one of the easiest sports to get involved with. Learning to stop the ball and pass it does not take long - if you have a true surface to play on.
Players at different levels can play together on the same team with no real problems, but a 3G pitch is not suitable for hockey, particularly for clubs trying to gro the game.
