Why doea one sport have to suffer for the benefit of another. There is a sport out there for everyone , but unless the variety is maintained people will never get a chance to participate.

Please save it! I've played the Thetford club and they have always promoted young players and encouraged their involvement in sport

Having played hockey for years it’s a sport that caters for all ages. It’s a family friendly sport and having started playing at aged 13 now in my 50’s I still have friends since then. It will be a shame that the facilities for hockey will be lost to this club.

I played for Thetford H C in the late 70s. It is not a high profile sport and yet you will be amazed how many people play hockey. It keeps children off the streets and boosts the morale and camaraderie amongst friends and families. Please reconsider your decisions for the sake of those who care for the sport.

Why would you replace a pitch with another that is not inclusive for all sports? Play football & rugby on grass if necessary.

Don’t replace with a 3G surface, remember Sport for All not just those sports with the most money!

According to sport England guidelines if an existing facility is being removed it has to be replaced with something equal or better. Get them and England Hockey on the case!

Massive fan of hockey and played it for many years. You’ve got to have the right pitch to play on!!!!
