Very timely. The government, at all levels, is out of control.

I understand laws ate there for a reason.real crime and real, justifiable and common sense punishments are also a good idea. Common sense needs to prevail when I comes to absurdity. Laws written with common sense In mind should be enforced, stupid laws should be removed from the books

There is nothing more important than fighting the creeping tyranny. "Formerly we suffered from crimes; now we suffer from laws." --Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Let them go. The goverment broke the law, and the trust, of the American people when they try to put ranchers out of business and use the land for dirty elite deals. Shame on all government officials involved in persecuting ranchers. We the people, it is our country.

If nothing else, this situation points out the urgent need for educating the public on trial jurors' right to nullify. Also, are any recalcitrant federal jurors included amongst the victims, i.e. who dared to risk a federal court's citation for contempt? If so, email me.

I wrote a letter to the judge in Oregon who threw the Bundy's back in jail after their acquittal and who's courtroom goons tasered and decked the defense attorney when he protested the judge's horrible decision. She never wrote back. Typical. TJM

We need to stop these unelected agents from making and enforcing laws. This is unconstitutional.

What about the hundreds of thousands of other political prisoners from Drug Wars, Food Wars, Tax Wars, Medical Wars, etc? And, what about billions routinely stolen from Americans on a daily basis through asset-forfeiture and thousands of other statutes and regulations? I do not believe for one moment we will do it, but it is way past time to end the Police State. We won't because most Americans love to tell each other how to live and are willing to force theirs through--violent if needed--government force. This is true across the political spectrum, right to left.
