I work in a nursing home and am beyond distressed and frustrated at watching our poor residents, the are all depressed, isolated, bored. Unfortunately, there is only so much us staff can do. There is no substitute for a loved one, close friend.

I’m losing my mom more every day. Hospital admissions twice in three weeks. She is on palliative care now. In February she got her hair done every week, nails done every few weeks and she went to the senior center every week. Our poor seniors need help!

These people need their families! Its heartbreaking to see them suffer day after day. Many have voiced they have never been asked about their opinion! Most voice would chance getting the virus to hold their loved ones again!
Open our nursing homes!

I have not seen my brother in person since March. He needs the contact of his family for his recovery and well being. He would rather take the risk of us all taking precautions and seeing him than not and being isolated an alone and feeling like we don't care and left him there all by himself.

These nursing home regulations combined with a lack of accountability are causing depression, neglect and death. Enough is enough. Our elderly family members are being treated worse than criminals in prisons, and these facilities are supposed to be their homes not a prison. We need change and we need it now.

Keeping loved ones from visiting their family members is inhumane. Enough roadblocks. Safely open nursing facilities and let family members in.

Change needs to happen NOW!!! Family needs to ger into nursing homes because 6 months of being in isolation is destroying them and this is crime. Why are they being punished even more by keeping their family away from them? Enough is enough!

My mother is 80 years old with dementia. If she were in a nursing home, instead of living with me, I know this would probably have killed her, or she wouldn’t know me anymore at all. These people need their families!! Please have mercy on these elderly people and restore visitation to family caregivers! It is the right thing to do. This is a travesty
