This is utter disrespect and as a xhosa I totally agree and it really should be banned on every media platform. Our culture is sacred and we have rights and the law should be able to do something based on judicial precedents.

The movie is too much, it is not culturally ethical and causes too much discomfort within society . This movie even displays the wrong side of the Xhosa culture , the trailer should be removed from youtube

I hereby also voice my concerns over the movie, it is degrading my culture and beliefs.
It will cause racial tensions and it is not suitable for any audience in our society.
The movie must be banned and if possible, the whole production team must be prosecuted for this movie.

There are obviously are a number of negative outcomes that can be a result of this false narrative. The immediate thing that we can think of would be the decision making process that has to be made by parents (mothers) when it comes to the cultural initiation school. In the same breath, the Xhosa boys will have a negative perception about the ritual because of the false narrative on the movie. We must then make it known that this movie is only focused at commercializing the Xhosa culture and not promoting it in a good light.
