Please make sure this movie is not released to be viewed by the public. Its degrading our oldest Xhosa tradition that is suppose to be secrete amongst Xhosa men.

As a group of young and more mature Xhosa men from different backgrounds, we have been engaging in conversations as to how we could prevent this movie from being released in this country.
"Wound must fall"
Our culture has been exhibited in an inappropriate manner, the sacredness of the initiation school and our dignity have been undermined. We as Xhosa men have been used, our pride have been used for profits.
We have been trying to pass the message using the power of social media to express our urgent concerns and dissatisfaction for this distasteful portrayal of this sacred custom.
What about our kids, our ancestors.
Did they even consider how we meet feel as a people whose culture they are using to make a profit?
My personal plea to South Africa at large is that lets stand up together in masses to help spread and support our movement. Lets all collectively come together as man and erupt this commercialisation of our culture.
All in all this movie must fall.it is highly demeaning to the entire ritual and culture of initiation.

WHAT A SHAME, A DISGRACE OF OUR CULTURE. MY FIGHT IS NOT AGAINST THE XHOSA TRIBE ONLY BUT ALL TRIBES AS A WHOLE. ALL CULTURES SHOULD BE RESPECTED IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT'S REVEALED. IN THE TRAILER THAT I HAVE WATCHED THERE IS A PART THAT SAYS "UNGAZITHETHI IZINTO ZALAPHA" THAT IS IN XHOSA AND IT MEANS "YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO SAY A WORD ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS HERE(MOUNTAIN)" BUT YET IT WAS PUBLISHED AND FILMED, I AM JUST CONFUSED. I fully agree that this movie seeks to undermine the xhosa culture and does not reflect authentic stories about xhosa people and ritual is sacred and should not be matter for public viewing especially for a price tag
