The Supreme Court clarification was very simple. The Women's Institute is a misnomer if men are able to join.

This is the most insane and imbecilic petition I have ever had to sign. No men should EVER be in the WI, have you all had some sort of mental breakdown? Sort it out, NOW. Shameful.

WI was set up in 1928 by very strong women who wanted to provide a space for women to come together away from men. So this constitutional policy should be respected and carried on for women only

How can it be called ‘women’s’ institute if it allows men in?

We have a man in our WI, completely alters the vibe of the meetings and Social events, no longer all women as everything is dominated by this one man who we are all slightly afraid of.

Please respect the Supreme Court Ruling - respect the law.

It's crucial for women and men to spend time with their own sex. Mental health often requires this and 'being inclusive' can also create exclusivity as those who should be attending, abandon the groups they would like to attend. WI has woman at the front for good reason.

Don’t call yourselves a woman institute and then include men. Either stick to your founding principles or open it up to all men and call yourselves the Peoples Institute.

This is a crucial issue for the NFWI to resolve lawfully.

Now I have retired I was considering join G the WI but I do not want to be in a group where men are pretending to be women as I would not feel safe or comfortable.
