I’ve lived on Orlando rd for more then 40 years. I’ve watched the area around this part of the village go down hill . The reason is as they say is the people buying the houses here are turning them into air bed rentals and rent houses, they don’t care about the neighborhood quality of living in the Village. Meaning THEY DON’T LIVE HERE!!!!!! ALL ABOUT THE MONEY.

Housing is in high demand currently and The Village is prime location. Please don't deprive anyone of the opportunity to live in a good community for unknown gains. There are other locations available to renovate in commercial zones.

I am a realtor and real estate investor/developer and own two homes directly impacted, one on Orlando and one on Northampton, both less than 200 feet away. I am in strict protest of this project as it will do nothing to improve the community whatsoever. This rezoning will absolutely be a huge eye sore in The Village being all residential homes lining the East side of N. May Ave for 9 continuous blocks. If this is allowed to pass then all homes on the East side of N. May Avenue will quickly follow suit and reduce an already much needed housing inventory. Please do what is best for the community and not for the select few people who stand to benefit from this project.

I strongly object to the rezoning of these two properties. My home is on 2616 Keats Pl and being in the real estate industry, this is going to damaging for property value and also the neighborhood itself. This is a great neighborhood and by one person rezoning their homes, this could cause a domino effect causing others to follow which the homeowners do not want.

I think we have plenty of commercial space in The Village. Please don't let more intrude on the residential area.

Have lived near N. May since 1963, there is enough commercial on North May already, this would make more rent money for a developer/owner, nothing more gained. Keep it as 2 houses.

Unnecessary, plenty of empty commercial spaces available. No one wants to live next to a commercial property, and more businesses on May will increase traffic pulling in and out of the business/neighborhood. Keep residential RESIDENTAL.

I live at 2505 Carlton Way in The Village and I oppose this residential property being refined to commercial.
