Ultimate provides exceptional cardio-vascular fitness and teaches kids how to work together without the overbearing influence of adults. These kids will take the sport to college and become leaders on their respective campuses...which will reflect well on Fairfax County Public Schools.

As someone who0 has gone to FCPS High School I feel they should recognize any sport that kids want to play. FCPS should especially enjoy a sport that teaches respect for each of it's players that I know that other sports, like football, lack.

As someone who went to public high school in Fairfax County, learned to play Ultimate at George Mason University, having played for over a decade on Club teams representing Washington D.C., and now the professional team of the AUDL the DC Breeze, I really would love to see this happen! Had ultimate been an option while I was growing up I certainly would have considered it and would very likely have played for my school. This is a legitimate sport that should be exposed to our youth at the earliest levels. If you need any help being convinced how intense and great a sport Ultimate is, I'd like to encourage you to come check out a DC Breeze game in Washington, D.C. this summer. I have a 7 month old son and would love to have ultimate as a recognized club sport in Fairfax County High Schools by the time he attends, or maybe even a varsity sport.

Frisbee is a good sport just like any other sport. If our children choose to play a sport they want then why not support them; instead of seeing them on the streets or wherever doing nothing and getting in trouble. Please consider. Thanks!

Support your school and your athletes. Once you see the game up close you will understand why this deserves regular practice space, stadium time and the support of the community around it just like every other sport. It's an amazing opportunity to embrace a beautiful game as it grows and grows.

When i first started I thought this sport was a joke. After almost 2 seasons I can totally say this a sport just as much as soccer, tennis; in fact i think it's better!
