As a ultimate frisbee athlete in Montgomery County MD who has often thought about campaigning to have ultimate frisbee become a school sport, this is an encouraging movement.

YES! I back this 100%! At my school (Yorktown High School in Arlington, VA) the dance team has higher priority to the frisbee team! They get to practice on our football fields instead of us! Frisbee is a real sport and the world needs to realize that!

I am the parent of an Arlington ultimate player and I believe that this is a fantastic sport for middle and high school kids. The self-reffereed games and the Spirit of the Game removes the overly competitive nature of traditional school sports like football.

I support Fairfax giving the Ultimate team club or team status. Arlington Ultimate has been a very successful program and I think Fairfax should support the kids in their athletics.

After playing in a league with Fairfax schools, I see no sensible decision other than to make it an official sport
