After playing in a league with Fairfax schools, I see no sensible decision other than to make it an official sport

I support this initiative very much. Frisbee is a very popular game, plus there are no injuries really, compared to other sports. It's a much safer and friendlier sport than football, for example.

I can't think of one good reason NOT to allow this to be a school sponsored club.

I am a graduate of Fairfax High School ('85) and a parent of daughters at Mclean High School. In 1982, we started an ultimate team at FHS, practicing off campus and playing games organized by the captains of the handful of teams in the DC area. I fully endorse school recognition of ultimate as an interscholastic club sport.

If Fairfax had Ultimate, Ffx would be one of the strongest areas in the world for Ultimate development. The socioeconomic factors and daily active lifestyles of Fairfax youth would seriously engage the county in an holistically positive experience.
