There is no reason for this building to still stand other than to mock black people as they walk by. The only place where pieces like this should still exist should be in a museum educating people on this era. This is disgusting and needs to come down immediately.

This is long over due. I also have family that live there and this slave market is a constant reminder of a lot of pain and suffering that our black families had to survive through. I thank God for blessing my grandparents and my parents with the strength to survive through those times. I would not be here if they hadn't. #tearitdown✊
