This name is harmful and violent to indigenous woman. As a white woman who says she loves native culture (and who benefits from the sales of knockoff Native American jewelry), you should listen to indigenous women when we tell you it’s offensive. To not do so is a continuous act of violence against us, and as a spunky women, you don’t want to be violent to other women do you? Just change the name.
