Racist! She is not going to win this battle because we will continue to call her out all the way to her bankruptcy!

The name of this boutique is offensive. To the owner: Please listen to the messages from native people, from women and others who are offended by the terms you use for your business. Ignore the rude comments and take heed of the hate and insult in this name, even if you did not intend it, the result is the same. Please change the name to one that does not insult women and indigenous people.

The name is derogatory. You've been told that repeatedly. Choosing to ignore those who are offended in favour of those who are not is erasure and exactly how supremacy works. This isn't your call to make. Understand that you are giving offense and give the respect due to those who are telling you that you are causing harm. Acknowledge it and stop it. It's really not that hard.

If you have the determination and tenacity to start a small biz, then have the same to learn what is behind the name you’ve chosen. You may not realize it, but you are choosing ignorance and perpetuating genocide by doing so.

This is disrespectful, inconsiderate and just straight ignorant on so many levels. The owner, associates and customers should all be ashamed of themselves

The owner needs to be told about Meghan Kelly. There are consequences for your obvious lack of understanding the situation.

Absolutely unacceptable! The "business" owner must recieve a history lesson on Indigenous culture from a reputable source, and learn why this word is considered crude, and offensive in North American Indigenous Culture, and only then will she understand. (I refuse to legitimize a supposed company by calling it a business, when it is clearly engaged in blatant racism, bigotry, discrimination, and prejudiced practices, by using derogatory, crude verbiage that degrades, debases, and demeans our beautiful, precious Indigenous women, the very foundation, and backbone of each treasured Indigenous culture! As well donning a headdress/bonnet only to be worn in special or sacred ceremony by Indigenous males, hence the quotations.)

Disrespectful and it is not right to claim something that you are not. Go play dress up with your own culture.

Other people's culture is not up for grabs so you can play dressup. Please try to listen, learn, and change.

What are you thinking?? That name is horrible. You are the new Wa team that deserves boycotting.

I'm gonna tell everyone who'll listen to boycott this racist business. Casual appropriation of all thinks Native is neither respectful, nor empowering, and they never listen when you tell them so!

Change your name! If you want to prove that you're not racist do it.

YOU may not be able to grasp how this is offensive, but the number of people standing up and speaking out against this tacky name will hopefully help clue you in.

It’s a very sad time when racists are being called out by the people they hurt and think they have still done nothing wrong.
