If she loves our culture so much like she says she does then should would have used proper terminology. Instead she used a racist slang used by old white people back in the day like the era of 1850 to 1950. If you look it up on the dictionary it clearly says "offensive"

Please stop this business which is committing to disrespecting and disregarding Native women and culture, and making money through cultural appropriation.

It’s 2018- there is no way a young, white woman did not know this is an inappropriate name for her clothing store. Disgraceful, hateful, full of entitlement.

The name, even if chosen in ignorance, is in poor taste and completely unacceptable. It should be changed immediately. Haven’t we done enough damage to our indigenous sisters?? This is simply throwing salt on a wound generations deep.

Bad business to name it with a racial slur. No sense to simultaneously assert it's harmless, while staff directly use it to insult critics. Inappropriate for white people to profit off of Indigenous culture. Lotta nope.

This pejorative term used to demean and fetishize native American women is extremely offensive and tone deaf. This trashy store and it's tawdry merchandise haz chosen to rejoice in the genocide of our people. Take legal action against this brazen abuse please.
