The name is offensive, and not a joke. The clothes you sell are nice. So you take all your own hard work away with a horrible name like that!

I am sure you were not intentional in naming your business something so offensive, but a quick google search should have clued you in on how very offensive that term is. Please consider the feedback you are receiving, not as an attack on you, but a plea for decency. You are harming a community of people. Those people are telling you it is not ok. Your error can be forgiven, however your inaction after being educated cannot be forgiven. It appears you are choosing money over decency. If you are not part of an ethnic community, you do not get to use and misuse their images for financial gain. It is very offensive. It is like using the "N" word for the name of your business and then wondering why people are upset. You didn't know, now you do. Character is determined by how you act when you know better.

I have two grandchildren that have Indigenous heritage...this name is extremely offensive. Did you do no research at all on the potential for offense this would cause?

White privilege at its best. Squaw is an offensive word that shouldn't be used for just anyones profit.

As someone who is in no way a part of the group against whom this slur was used, and whose ancestors in all likelihood used it against others, you do not get to define it's significance. Listen to these women, change the name.

Please do some research re: how the term “squaw” came about. And the recall your family history-if your family was not here living and thriving on this continent in 1492 you may not have the same awareness as we as native people do to our treatment. If you have the opportunity to learn about us please do. What you may not be aware of the fact that colonization was shoved down our throats. We were forced to give up our way of life to live like the Europeans do. I will pray for you.

There are plenty of ofther word to choose from that will allow you to utilize alliteration without being offensive. It’s 2018, if you are offensive now it’s by choice.
Change it!!!!!!!
