Your racist business needs a name change.

“Squaw” is a racist term for Native American women, and the use of “tribe” with a teepee graphic just hammers home the point that this was intentional. Stop being so racist, & change the name.

To do something in ignorance is bad enough, but please do not try to justify it when Native American women are saying it is derogatory. They have the right to call you out. Please have the decency to change the name and apologise.

Please consider how hurtful your name is to people not of your cultural background. No one is asking you to shut down, but to stop appropriating culture that isn't yours.

No appropriate. Obviously severely ignorant after being told many times by many people. Very much in denial and likely needs help. Lack of empathy, common sense and basic common decency. Once a normal person is informed something they are doing MIGHT be offensive to an entire culture or other women...they would normally simply chose a different path. And as a business woman...the goal is to ensure you wont be boycotted or offend entire groups of people. Unless that was her purpose. Not her right to use other cultures for her profit. Also claiming to be REAL Native when you are not in any form...is illegal. She is setting herself up for a lawsuit. "The Indian Arts and Crafts Act of 1990 (P.L. 101-644) is a truth-in-advertising law that prohibits misrepresentation in marketing of American Indian or Alaska Native arts and crafts products within the United States."

As a woman with Romani ancestry, I can't stand idly by watching anyone engage in acts of cultural appropriation, bigotry or racism.

It makes me sad that people are very derogatory against Native America Women. We are people too and should be treated the way you would want to be treated

The derogatory word "squaw" has no place in a business name or anywhere else. I suggest you find a more inclusive name instead of the racist one you currently use.

In 2018, there is no excuse to be using offensive, derogatory, racism labels as business names or logos. Perhaps there is someone in your area that will take it upon themselves to teach you about colonization - the way the Europeans used diseases as weapons, scalping as a way of tracking bounties, rape as a way of demeaning the women who are the backbones of the communities. When you use the term "squaw" it not only signifies your racist disregard for Indigenous women, but for your disrespect and disregard for ALL women.

Why continue to use a name so offensive to so many people? This is not how to gain customers. I will never shop from a business knowingly offending so many.

I am Indigenous and grew up around Indigenous people from coast to coast from Canada to Mexico and none of us use this racist term.

This is a racial slur that should not be used for profit by a couple of non-native white girls.

Your White Privilege is shining. You don't get to decide the definition of the word; it is derogatory to Native Americans and needs to be dropped. Shame on you for perpetuating the plight of Native American women just to fill your wallet.
