I want to believe in my heart that you genuinely didn’t mean any I’ll will with the name you chose. But come on, Just change the damned name! You’ve had many people tell you it’s hurtful and vile. Why on earth would anyone fight to keep such an ugly word in their shop name? Especially after all of this. Give your head a shake!

This is absolutely disgusting. I’ve read the rude comments made about my people by the owners and higher ups of this “business” saying rude things like this is just something else we are complaining about? Like get real. This word is very rude, disgusting and harmful to us as Aboriginal Women. I believe them changing their business name is just a start but a very good start to them gaining more respect and education towards Aborginal People and our Culture as a whole.
