S***w is a racist slur against indigenous people. If you wouldn't say n***er, you shouldn't say s***w. Also, this business seems to be appropriating indigenous culture, it's wholly offensive.

As an Indigenous woman, I am greatly offended by this store's name. The owner's refusal to change it demonstrates her ignorance and disrespect. You can't treat potential customers like this.

Sq**w is a racial slur used to dehumanize indigenous people. I've seen so many stories of native kids being targeted with this slur.

Using this name for a business owned by and aimed at white women shows a level of willful ignorance that is unacceptable. Even when informed of the actual history of the term and how hurtful and damaging it is to native women, she refuses to change.

Absolutely disgusting this business owner is using a racist slur and yet playing victim, claiming those calling her out are being hateful! She's making money out of racism, appropriation and use of slurs. That aside what was the thinking in the name: cummy *facepalm*

I know you took time choosing the name of your clothing brand and don't see anything offensive about it, the thing is is it's not up to us to decide what is hurtful to another. It's not up to white folks like us to decide a word used to violently oppress a group of people is okay after all. This is the sneaky oart of white privilege- it's hard to see when we have it. Please be a model here. Use your clout and public presence to model respect by changing your name and removing Indiginous imagery and cultural referencing from your brand. Instead of getting wide attention for digging your heels in, think if how good it would feel to have flicks of customers supporting your business because if it's high regard for respect and inclusivity. That's what a real spunky woman would Do!
