Start allocating ' local affordable housing' correctly. It should be made available to hard working young families, who will use it as a stepping stone to get some money and stability in their life and be able to one day be a home owner. Stop putting unemployed, system scamming young people in these houses who will use them for the rest of thier lives. It is totally demoralising to hard working families who struggle to get by and watch this going on around them. Think of the he people who have paid good money to buy on these new estates, I'm hoping they back my cause too.
