Heber, communities and towns around the lake need this kind of shot in the arm. Growth with a strong backbone like this can only make the area a better.
To off set the cost, now is a good time to vote on liquor laws for Heber and Cleburne County. I know this isn’t the most popular thing for some but I just went through this in Perryton, Texas. Please think about it, you don’t drink, you pay no new tax. You do drink, pay your way. Cabot to Heber on Friday’s is a bad deal.

Not crazy about the piers but I understand its a work in progress. What the entire lake area needs is Corp approval of dry dock and weekend boat slips for subdivisions around the lake.

Greers ferry needs a place like this for people to park and enjoy the lake. It's so deep and rocky there are no places to pull up and let kids swim an play in shallow water. The only beach area now is way to small and over crowded. Alot of lake people chose Wichita lake or other lakes because they have islands and beach areas for shallow water play. I think this could be a game changer for tourism in heber springs. It would definitely have me coming back to that end of of the lake. I currently stay at sugar loaf end due to no good places left on heber end.

The lake needs some entertainment, restaurants, and a place for boats of larger size to park while visiting these venues.

I live In Faulkner County but the lake was a place my family went almost ever weekend when we were small. As an adult I never go, however I can see myself going to the lake a lot if this project is completed.

Love this idea! Heber Springs is such a beautiful town and full of a wonderful community of people - growth and opportunities for them would be fantastic.

I love this idea! I never understood why this town didn’t have more things to do and places to shop and good restaurants to eat at with it being a BIG tourist town. Other tourist towns have lots of amenities but our town and I know that with the sandy beach project our town would just explode with unlimited opportunities!!
