If you currently live in the Town of Ellery:

The Salvation Army is looking for support for zoning of an existing building in the Town of Ellery. We will operate a 19-bed shelter, employing 30 staff members, and providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. The programs we offer are: Shelter, Advocacy, Children and Family Outreach and Prevention Education Programs. This location would give us the space for our programs and allow us to offer services to the disabled.

Currently, The Salvation Army operates a Shelter, Sexual Assault Services, Children and Family Outreach and Prevention Education throughout Chautauqua County. These programs operate at two separate locations, and both are houses that lack the space, and state compliance requirements needed. (we have been grandfathered for over 30 years)

I support this program, it has a tremendous effect on the lives of women in our community. We are lucky to have it!

I completely support this program. I fulfills an important mission of the Salvation Army, as well as to the community, with no downside to the community.
