The original name worked well....Why change?....Must be a prestige trip.

Inappropriate name change. It was fine the way it was.

I feel this is inappropriate as it was under a " Royal " that the forced imagination of the Highlands and the Gaelic community of Scotland were sent tae Nova Scotia. The people should be free of this bad reminder!

Despite good intentions, I feel that 'Royal' auspices are inappropriate here.

I believe that the intention was to be a good thing with the change of the name and the addition of "Royal" added however the process of how this was done was WRONG! It has created a great deal of hurt, frustration and has upset so many with a strong gaelic heritage. The people have spoken.... The name ROYAL should be removed.

No offence to the queen, I just believe the "Royal" prefix is inappropriate.

"Royal" should definitely not be a part of the name. It is such a slap in the face considering the history of why Gaelic is here in the first place.

Please don't change for the sake of change. The Royals do not have a strong connection to the CBGC ..... (I don't think) I would see Scotland as a reason for a name change if benefitial for the CBGC,

Why are the Royals so interested now in the culture, now
