So many layers of colonialism, for so long. It's really not a huge issue, for me, but i'd like to support those who have strong feelings about the English domination remnants. Really, though , it seems there are more important issues to spend time on.

Our family came to Cape Breton during the clearances. Remember Culoden don't put Royal any where near anything Gaelic.

Our Gaelic ancestors deserve a tribute to the true history!
I believe the history of the treatment of the Gaels would be enough explanation.

Typical political move add a name but what benefits? If it came with a 100 million endowment to support the Gaelic language I could hold my nose. But otherwise the word royal does nothing but hide the English view on the Gaelic language.
