Great people and wonderful family - they would be a great addition to any community! I sincerely hope Canada reconsiders their permanent resident application.

Citizenship should not nor ever be judged by a disability. This family contributes to the financial stability of Canada and should be allowed to stay.

Amazing family, willing to pay their own way. How can this not be great for Canada?

If criminals are allowed across the border and all health benefits are given to immigrants, please allow this family the same consideration.

They should be allowed to stay for compassionate reasons.

This family is a great benefit to their community, to Manitoba and to Canada. They are business owners that create jobs for local citizens, use the services of all kinds of other businesses, and pay taxes. We need more families like this to come to Canada and this family must stay.

100% behind this family. Theirs is a Canadian story. Who are we but a country with compassion? To deny them citizenship, when they have been contributing/exemplary members of our society is hypocritical and small minded. 100%. Give them residency. BE CANADIAN!! Demonstrate Canadian values!!

This decision to deny residency is ridiculous. Jon and Karissa and family, we as a country want and need people like you. We need to get this message through

The WARKENTIN family diffently should stay in Canada! They came here to raise their family and a business opportunity. They are very hard working people and invested a lot of time & their OWN money to this business! Nothing was given them on a silver platter! Immigration Canada declining their application for permanent residency is ridiculous! The reason is ridiculous! When a person sees all the refuges that have come to Canada and what is costs the taxpayers makes a person sick!

This is disgraceful on the part of our Canadian government. We are continuing to let people with nothing into Canada, you set them up and this family that has CONTRIBUTED for some years....you deny them permanent residency because of their daughter's developmental issues? Shame shame on you!!! You pay a TERRORIST $10.5 million but you deny them??? This makes me ashamed...what do you call these values?
