Seriously? The sign rendering looks like the side of a Circus wagon. The Rialto deserves better.

The Rialto is a beautiful and classy building, putting that ugly sign on the front of it is like putting a neon mustache on the Mona Lisa.

The public deserves more transparency in regards to the Rialto Board's dealings, and their opinions regarding the proposed new marquee should be taken into consideration.

Please reconsider the new marquee. It needs to duplicate the current one in design & omit the memorial. A marquee is no place for a memorial as this is a theater not a funeral home. A memorial can be placed on a plaque & placed inside with the rest of the Rialto donors. We are greatful for the donation but not such strings being attached.

Change is inevitable, but we must not forget our history. This marquee is one of the most identifiable icons of the city. There must be a cost effective way to recreate a modern marquee with the same identity.

Concern needs to be strongly emphasized how this new marquee was railroaded thru with out any notification or discussion with the taxpayers of the Joliet area. Please check the qualifications of the board members and also look into the reasons why the mayor and other officials are trying to slough off this event that is so important to those who not only love the Rialto, but also would like to know how & why the politicians and Rialto officials are handling this in an covert style
