Although i do not live in Illinois anymore, i was born and raised in Joliet, and the Rialto Theater was a huge part of my life growing up. If you wanna restore the Marquee to it's original look it's fine, but do not insult our home town with wanting to modernize it. Thank You.

That sign should go on a funeral home. That's what it looks like, the front of a funeral home.

I love the sign that is there now! It should stay forever, holds lots of memories and should not be changed! It has a lot of old heritage in it along with nostalgia, keep it old!

The way this deal came together SMACKS of a SMOKE FILLED BACKROOM POLITICS. This is Joliet, the 4th largest City in Illinois, and the RIALTO is deemed one of the Ten MOST BEAUTIFUL THEATERS in this UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

We do not want the proposed marquee.

The Rialto Theater is known as one of the most beautiful theaters in the country. The New Marqee design will take away from the Historical beauty of the building. We're the City of Champions, not Pottersville.
