You are a disgrace to the American
flag and all those who have died and are still dying for you to be able to have your warped opinion. The flag has nothing to do with civil rights Mr. IGNORANT. It symbolizes our cou tris freedom from the world. Hang it up sir.... You are a waste of tax dollars!

"Bruno's Powersports will in no way support the Arkansas Razorbacks and be associated with them until Jeff Long and Jimmy Dykes stand up for our what our National Anthem stands for. We believe in protest, but in no way when it is being done during our National Anthem. Our National Anthem isn't a black or white thing, it's the one thing we have left that should bring everyone together. It's a sad day in Razorback Nation!"

You know years ago just about every family had a living member who had served in our country's military, some by choice some by draft duty as an American citizen. The young people had heard stories of war, loyalty, and sacrifice. They knew that the freedoms they enjoyed came at a cost and that most times that cost was paid for them by these soldiers' sacrifices. They were taught that when someone gives you a gift, especially the gift of their own sacrifices, that you thank them and extend gratitude. You try your best to repay them even if the only way you can is by making something of your own life with the gift they provided for you. These Razorback ladies ( and I use the term loosely) may not like the national anthem. They may not even like our country, BUT common courtesy, diplomacy, and manners are something every decent human being still offers whether they like the gift they receive or not!! All these players did was display exactly how ENTITLED, SPOILED, SELF-ABSORBED, UNGRATEFUL, DISREPECTFUL, and absolutely ATTENTION SEEKING some of this generation has become. I hope the consequences of their actions include loss of funding and loss of support. Shame on the coaching staff that has supported this reprehensible kind of behavior!
Can you imagine what would happen if our country was ever in a position again to have to use a draft?

The action of these athletes has just deeply sadened me and my family. As an athlete you are part of a team and a role model for young children who look up to you. My daughter is an extremely talented athlete who is grounded in her beliefs and very proud of her country. Again, this is unimaginable behavior.

The front of the T-shirt these ladies were wearing said WE AR ARKANSAS really? Fire Dykes and pull scholarships they do not deserve to wear a uniform.

Very disrespectful to those whose have given the ultimate sacrifice for this nation. Far better ways of protesting than this disrespectful way... your not representing yourself when you have that uniform on. You are representing the university, and our whole state and people. UNACCEPTABLE

We need a head coach at the University of Arkansas women's basketball program who isn't afraid of leadership. Jimmy Dykes needs to move on.

100% agreed! What if everyone across the state of Arkansas took off their Razorback plates, stickers, decals, flags, etc. and didn't post or respond to the Razorback fan page? Now that would make a statement! Take a stand.

That is so embarrassing watching that take place and from our own students!!!! There should be consequences and removal of all, including Jimmy if it happens again!!! He never should have allowed it to take place!!!!
