The kinds of posts that this person has made on social media which demean LGBTQ + people are offensive and hateful and demonstrate an inability to represent constituents when in a position of making decisions on behalf of others. I have been a Lake Monticello resident since the fall of 1997, and I have never been more disappointed in a decision made by a board member to spew hatred, division, and to make people feel unsafe in their own home community.

The breach of confidentiality to share information to potentially send harm or grievance to an individual property owner is disgraceful and not fitting for what leadership abilities the position requires. Regardless of differences of opinion and what our emotions tell us. This event in and of itself show that this member does not have the right values or maturity to take constructive criticism in the proper fashion. He should be immediately relieved of the duties of his position and liable for any laws that may have been broken by his actions.

The hate-filled views expressed by Don Polonis have no place in this community and definitely no place in its leadership. The fact that he openly published a member's personal PRIVATE information on an open, public forum is beyond reprehensible. He needs to leave the board
