The removal of council member Sandra Hinkle

Sandra is a horribLe person. Horrible to her kids, her grandkids, and her community. At first I truly felt sorry for this zilch and thought more attempts should be made to reach out to her and help. But after knowing her for years and years and years.. She will never change. Truly a wretched and shameful person. Some of the things she has done to FAMILY.... This does not surprise me at all

she had made horrible comments about me as well we live in the same neighborhood, she watches every thing that I do and spreads rumors about me to other neighbors. she has no business being in the position she is in!!

Clearly she needs ousted as a public official and has no business being a public official if she can't be or not willing to be filmed by the public she represents

There is no place in this society for derogatory, racist, or bigoted comments. Think before you speak! No public servant should speak to any person with indignity. You should resign and find a more appropriate way to serve.

Being an above knee amputee, I feel for this man. I as well am finding myself constantly discriminated upon especially when it comes to employment. There is no place for this type of behavior.

Your statements could not be farther removed from the issue at hand in this petition. That said, you made it worse buy attacking a citizen exposing inappropriate actions by a voter-appointed official. Perhaps it is you who should pick your battles and have Grace and Respect in your heart as the Lord would ask.

I just laughed my butt off when I saw her so called "threat". I know Sandra Hinkle very well, seeing that she is a close family member of mine, and so is Douglas, she was most definitely joking, and I would know for a fact, even though I was not present, that she said it in a very jokingly manner, its just how she is. I can assume you are trying to use this against her by twisting information to get her off the council when she is one of the most logically and thoughtful person there, aside from Doug. She probably disagrees with a lot of the things that the Borough does, and now you want her off the council so you have no offending party. And seeing that I'm not every of the age of 14 yet, I understand what is happening.

Because of the Sunshine Law I don't believe municipal assemblies are permitted to forbid audio or video recording of their meetings. But I could be mistaken.

She needs to step down after what she said

If you were personally offended so be it but personal matters should not be handled in a public forum. You should be ashamed! If you want action, why don't you start with the real problems in your borough. For example.. • The borough did not get Liquid Fuels money from the state for two years, because the borough did not file the necessary paperwork. (oops) That money, normally, is used for road maintenance and other uses approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. It would have likely amounted to more than $60,000 for North York; • Checks from the general fund were paid directly to council member's own pension (oops) and it would appear that the Borough did not report these payments to the Internal Revenue Service. (oops). • Several members of council and several borough employees received payments from the general fund, and there was only a check stub and no invoice for many of those payments (oops). Among those payments was a $750 check to another council member for "pension contribution." • There was no evidence in repeated instances that would indicate the borough council approved bills paid by the borough; (oops) Seems like you can pick your battles a little better then you have today. Remember, when you're pointing a finger at a person, there are three fingers pointing back at you and from what I understand you live in a glass house and should not be throwing stones. Imagine me slapping you upside your head for being so petty... with or without your prosthesis, I let you decide.

Sandra Hinkle should be ashamed of herself and her council members should be as well for not demanding she apologize and step down. I would like to see her issue a public apology and be forced out for her immature, rude and completely intolerable behiavor. We as citizens have a right to record what OUR civil servents do and say.

I think she should graciously step down from her post, publicly apologize for her words, and find another way to support the community where her words and actions are not representing the community at large. And for those who support her, consider the fact that her words reflect on you, your children, your community. I see post after post of people complaining about nonsense in the community but if this is how we are being represented, we will become the laughing stock of York County.

I also heard her say she was going to slap Vivian in the face.
