Dear President Erdogan,
It doesn't help Turkey's international standing in purging academics, teachers and education staff. This will restrict academic freedom which is the cornerstone of a democratic society. I urge you to reverse this decision as gesture of good faith on the part of your government. Thank you for reading my comments.

Such attacks on academic freedom are unacceptable anywhere, especially by a government that claims to be democratic

Your Excellency, President Erdoğan! Respect academic freedom. A clampdown on scholars should stop.
