The parents of Bridlington School children should have the right to buy school trousers or skirts without logos from whichever retailer they see fit.

Banning skirts? Think about summer weather, do they really want their kids to sweat and get too hot. This is disgusting. All because the head wants 'Oxford' points. Stupid.

The new trousers idea is taking it too far. How does wearing a bit too tight trousers cause people to stop learning. Penalising them like this will make people refuse and that's what will stop people from getting a good education. The school is taking it too far now.

Absolutely ridiculous!! Us parents should unite together and refuse to bow down to their demands! I have always struggled to find any trousers to fit my son in K&A so his latest 2 pairs were bought from Next just a few week ago so I certainly won't be replacing them as long as they're in good condition. The school threatens isolation, well I hope they have an isolation room big enough to accomodate 99% of their pupils!

If schools want pupils to wear uniforms with their logo then they should provide them free of charge, uniforms cost enough as it is !!!

Not wearing the logo trousers we in uniform stop taking the pee I'll go in uniform room instead it dosnt bother me

Why am I not surprised! My daughter attended Bridlington school some years ago. One year, after we had rigged our girls out with black tights at the start of the school year, the school, in their infinite wisdom decided to try and change the colour to blue. Needless to say it didn't happen. Parents rightly complained then as many of you are doing now. Keep it up! They should focus their energies on education!

We should be allowed to purchase school trousers from where we please and unlogo'd. Females should also have the option of wearing skirts if so wanted.

This will have a big impact on the child as some parents can't afford uniforms as it is .the impact will be pressure on the family unit not a good idea I think you need to rethink
