The traffic of shoppers trying to get into the car park of Aldi which is a little up the road is so dangerous! There are so many occasions where I have been driving past and thinking that the queue of traffic could cause a huge pile up. What use would a Lidl be on the other side of the road? To cause even more traffic on a busy road on a busy junction? So very dangerous when there is so much foot traffic nearby.

Traffic turning right into the BP petrol station already causes congestion at the Organ Crossroads, having a Lidl opposite would cause caos at the junction

The traffic on the by pass has increased since Aldi was built. Does it really need to get any worse

Traffic would be a big issue at this already busy junction. This can be seen at the Aldi site on London Road. This site is not suitable for a supermarket!

Traffic is at capacity at these accident prone crossroads, any business generating high volumes of cars will cause stationary traffic to block the junction after the lights have changed.

The planning application should be rejected. It is not a viable option to have a supermarket on that site. There would be a considerable detrimental effect to the traffic at the crossroads and in the surrounding area. There is already too much congestion at peak times in the area. KFC's plans were rejected on traffic grounds, therefore it follows that Lidl's plans should be similarly rejected.

We already have an aldi at the top of the bypass wich causes more traffic we don't need a lidle at the other end to create more traffic on a road that is mostly contested already

Increase in traffic at that site will bring the area at rush hour to a stand still

I feel this planning application should be rejected due to excess traffic build up if it was given approval for building. Traffic build up can be demonstrated by looking at the Adli store off ruxley lane. Week and weekend traffic filtering into Aldi has created excessive tail backs which is what residents protested would happen and it has. If a Lidl store is approved the same will happen and will create more pollution from vehicle tail backs.

A Lidl in the corner will result in excess traffic and the London Road already has a lot of traffic during certain points of the day. A LIDL could also devalue the properties close to it.

I object to this application because we are already well served by local shops who will suffer if this outlet goes ahead. The increase in traffic will result in more congestion, noise and danger.

Traffic is already bad at this junction and will only increase if Lidl is built.

It will most probably increase traffic in London Road which is already too busy at times and it is very likely to push traffic into the surrounding residential areas. As there seems to be many school children and elderly people in the area any increase in traffic and congestion will be detrimental to their safety and well being.

Lidl have not offered anything in their plans that allay the concerns raised by the inspectorate when KFC appealed the decision of Epsom and Ewell council not to allow them their building application. The inspectorate felt that the location of the site at a junction operating at over 100% capacity with indadequate crossing facilities for pedestrians was not suitable for a business with a high column of visitors and staff. I can't see that the traffic flowing in or out of the premises would be any different. As a resident of Beaufort Way I often battle to access and egress my road. To compound this with a Lidl directly opposite would make it more difficult, more frustrating and more dangerous.

This will impact on the traffic at the organ crossroads as shown by Aldi on the bypass.

I am against this proposal because this will create extra congestion (the Aldi down the road is a casing point!) and it is already a busy junction and will affect those doing school runs down this route - walking and driving). The knock on affect will be more traffic in residential areas as people will use this as rat-runs more often, which again will put school children at risk. Also, I don't think the look of a Lidl building is in-keeping with area (think Nonsuch down the road - why was the original building allowed to be teared down in the first place??!). It will also attract people from outside the area, which i think will increase security issues for those living around the area.

Road is far to busy at present without adding to it. It will cause mayhem. And do we really have to have another supermarket to bring the area down
