I am opposed to this proposal due to the dangerous impact of building this supermarket on an already busy junction. Having seen the impact of the Aldi on the main Kingston Road (cars queuing causing traffic jams and near misses as people try and enter and exit the car park) this proposal puts drivers and pedestrians at risk. I would also question why it is needed with so many similar shops within a short radius?

I am against this proposal because of the extra traffic coming in and out onto an already busy junction. This area has plenty of choice of supermarkets in abundance!
Thankyou

The increased traffic will impact heavily on an already congested junction, this will make the area unsafe, especially for the school children that walk along this route,

Layout of road and traffic congestion will cause too much risk with school children. The road layout will not work is a safe way.

The Old Building should never gave been pulled down and it is wholly inappropriate for the people responsible to then get there way. The proposed building will be an eyesore and nit enhance the area. In addition the effect on traffic at the lights, in my opinion, will mean more delays and traffic build- up causing an unnecessary danger to the general public.

Traffic is horrendous- signage that it is 30mph is hidden and too many lorries deliveries already causing noise at all hours

Any kind of commercial activity such as a supermarket is going to make what is already a major traffic bottleneck at the lights a whole lot worse.

Why do we need yet another supermarket and on such a busy junction already. I have a small coop a 2 minute walk from my house and they have 3 lorry deliveries per day which use my small road as their parking bay causing chaos to the residents so lord only knows what chaos/traffic a supermarket of this size would bring to the local residents.

I believe this planning application for Lidl should be rejected on the grounds of the increased traffic delays.Currently less than a mile away Aldi causes traffic to build up queuing to get into the carpark which results in unnessary queues on an already busy road.I foresee this will also be in the case with Lidl which is already at a crossroads which already emcounters many lengthy backups of traffic due to volume which this will subsequently enhance the problem tenfold.

Too much traffic already. No more supermarkets in Epsom. So many already and causing congestion on the surrounding roads.

This will cause too much pressure on the already stretched main road.

The traffic at this junction is already terrible to put a supermarket there will pish this junction to it'd limits. The supermarket on the Ewell by pass has started causing traffic problems with people queueing to get in and that is on a clear stretch of road, this will be worse.

This is not in keeping with the area, there are sufficient supermarkets
The cross roads is already extremely busy and will be chaotic if this proposal goes forward.

The crossroads already gets congested without the added traffic of shoppers that would be decending onto lidl. The aldi site up the road by ruxley lane causes so much congestion blocking one lane of the kingston road where so many cars are queing trying to enter the carpark. This will happen on the site if lidl goes there. Its such an awkward busy crossroads as it is.

Bearing in mind the heavy conjestion already on the Ewell bypass; (including further down where there is already an Aldi), this would not be a good use of the space. There is no consideration for the people who live around the area who don't want queueing traffic outside their front door.

Ridiculous. Added volumes of traffic. Unsafe at cross roads. Property value will decrease

I feel that the traffic in the surrounding roads are at a limit already. This will add to this in a way that will determent the local area and I am very concerned for the safety of my daughter as she walks past the site.
