Physiotherapists are experts in MSK. They have more training than Chiropractors in treating MSK.
Chiropractors are experts in the relationship of the spine and the nervous system. We identify and correct Vertebral Subluxations to help our patients achieve their optimum potential.

I know that chiropractic has a neurological affect as well as musculoskeletal, how can you separate these functions. They are a synthesis of physiological function.

There is already a very good profession that specializes in MSK complaints and disorders. It is called Physical Therapy. It is not in the public interest to duplicate another profession. Co-management is beneficial, imitation and competition is harmful.

It is odd that all the best evidence points to the chiropractic adjustment having a healthy and significant effect on the nervous system. There is no evidence based motive for simply refusing to link chiropractic to the nervous system. It's a dogmatic position to take based on either ignorance and / or appeasement. It makes no scientific sense or logical sense.
