Next we prescribe meds!...........lets not go the way of the Osteopaths a few decades back. Some DC's still want to be medi-practors, let them go. I do not want to be attached to the Allopathic approach, as it is so flawed!

You can't touch the body without stimulating nerves. The science state that chiropractic improves afferent nervous system firing to the brain. There is no way to seperate chiropractic from neurology

This is a basic error, and indeed the neurological components of "musculoskeletal" conditions is common across all manual therapy professions even if historically most vocally the Chiropractic profession.

As a practicing chiropractor, I see daily the neurological effects of what I do with my patients. To take that aspect away from our profession turns us into glorified massage therapists, which we most definitely are not. Please continue to label us as neuromuscular specialists.

Taking away the Neuro component in what we do is ridiculous. Whether you practice in a pain based MSK model or a vitalistic approach; both use the NERVOUS SYSTEM to accomplish their end goal.
As a paying member of OCA/CCA I would like my way of practice recognized, not just a pain based model of care.
