To expel a student after more than half way through the most meaningful year of her high school experience is just utterly wrong. Clearly this school does not care about the effect that it's wrongdoing is going to have on Alexis.

If you want the youth of today to succeed you must lead them to success not failure and expulsion. Sad to see how flawed and unsuccessful this school board is.

i think what the school is doing to this girl is disgraceful.i know alexis since 6th grade on st clares and is a wonderful girl,and she certainly doesnt deserve to be expelled due to a failing grade,especially in what is supposed to be her most memorable year at school.this is apalling.

The comment by Mr. Ferrantino was excellent. However, one correction, there are only 60 full days of school left. The action they are taking against this student is a disgrace.

As a parent, I cannot understand the decision of one of our noted Catholic high schools St Joseph Hill to expel a senior student six months prior to graduation. The reason I understand is a difficulty with one subject? This is decidedly unfair to the student, her family who has paid for three and a half years tuition plus expenses, and also to her fellow classmates, and the students in the lower classes. Have the
administrators considered the emotional stress and strain placed on this child and any consequences that could occur as a result of their decision? I would have expected the school to use the Catholic principles of love, and understanding to do all possible to help this child in need. I can't imagine the outrage from those in our Catholic, and other communities that would be forthcoming if the media were made aware of this inequitable matter, or doesn't St. Joseph Hill consider equity or even it's reputation.? In all fairness I strongly suggest that Alexis Bourseaux be reinstated to her class. I make myself available to her parents in any manner where I can be of help. God Bless us All.
