What is the nature and means by which a senior student is expelled? We the undersigned join together in order to right the wrong we feel has been committed, and seek to understand the situation in full effect. We stand together as Catholic members of the community on behalf of Alexis Bourseaux.

I logged on and saw five hundred signatures and truly did not know what to say. This response belongs entirely to your compassion for Alexis and your commitment to the truth.

I started this because I felt lost but seeing so many of you join in makes me realize we are looking for the same answers about fairness. The silence from the administration is telling yet keeping these stories focused on Alexis is what really matters most.

I am not surprised nor bewildered. There are certain members of the "faculty " who have a godlike attitude.always trying to take credit for these young women accolades, but very non compliant when a student is struggling .So I am very confident that this young lady's statement is nothing but the truth.

As a SJHA alumni who also struggled, I am baffled. The purpose of school is to HELP us not punish us for misunderstanding or having a hard time. This is a terrible thing to do.

This is so horrible, as a graduate of STJH I'm so embarrassed of my alma mater. I hope they fix this, or their "good" reputation that they are always trying to uphold might be tainted.

Shame on you SJHA, you should have helped her pass, not force her to leave. SHAME ON YOU. You "seek to EDUCATED and EMPOWER young women"... not showing that too well right now, are you?

This is absolute insanity, the administration should be ashamed with themselves... There is absolutely no reason to expel a student on the premise of grades with only 60 days left of school... If academic performance was such an issue it should have been settled a long time ago but to make this decision now is ridiculous

To expel a student after more than half way through the most meaningful year of her high school experience is just utterly wrong. Clearly this school does not care about the effect that it's wrongdoing is going to have on Alexis.

Seems quite unbelievable that a school would not want to help this young lady. Perhaps the parents should ask SJHA for a FULL REFUND of the tens of thousands spent. Parents should also expose the school for what it is - insensitive and rigid. Time to give SJHA some of the bad press that has only been bestowed on Moore C in recent years.
