This is NOT a central location, and is very disappointing to the students of SGHS.

This is ridiculous. Why should they be on the road? Missing so much time.

This is a terrible idea, it takes away so much time with transportation and opportunities for other much needed courses during that time!

Why not have the teacher travel between the two schools, instead of busing entire groups of students? Half the day at each school's auto mechanics class could be dedicated to reading and video instruction, with a "fill-in" teacher, and the other half "hands-on" with the auto mechanics instructor.

This is completely unfair to our souther students. Keep the programs at southern and make the northern students travel that extra time. That way, only some students need to travel and not everyone.

A true central location might be feasible but this is definitely unfair to Southern students

This is absolutely ridiculous taking away all the life skills from the kids. You keep taking all these things away and the kids graduate without a clue on how to go through life! !!!

Needs to be done to benefit all students.

Although I no longer have a child in GCPS, I know that “chef” is well respected & loved by his students. This program should not be moved to a central location. That is just a dumb, dumb idea all the way around!

My heart is grieved, because I myself; even though learning from parents; I appreciated hands on experience from my educators! Myself ,family and friends needed extra! I beg, plead and pray you dont take this away too!! I was saddened when schools stopped drivers ed, because many families couldnt afford on their own..If you want a great future and believe for it then provide it!! We arent all black, native or hispanic nor predjudice, but remember all lives, color, ethinicity matter.. We fund as a State and Nation many dollars for outsiders work inside because these lives matter and I personally love each indivisual!! Hear me out with others, when I say dont take away programs / educational and beneficial for our great future!!

That is way too far for Southern kids! Maybe try sending job openings to local colleges to see if there are any newly graduating teachers for these openings?
