Not too happy about replacement classes for P1 Maths as well that will be held in May along with their usual class as we will not be able to attend any of the replacement classes.

I finally get to see the real quality of the teachers and we are even over-charged for regular classes. My goodness! We are not unreasonable parents who are asking for free online lessons. However, you must also charge reasonably and give us a choice to stop the lesson for the time being if we find it unsuitable for our kids. Those who wish to continue may do so.

I had spoken to the customer service personnel to make it an exceptional refund for the 25% instead. As we are unable to sign up June Special Program at all. Which means my fees paid for term 2 will be wasted. 1 kid - 25%, 2 kids =50%!! I am surprised that TLL isn’t ready to launch online teaching ... TLL360 is really bad!

I have signed up 5 subjects for my 2 kids and absolutely agree with this petition! I felt that Learning Lab is despicable by refusing us a refund or rollover of fees. Today I tried to figure out the different platforms used by various teachers, expecting us to have multiple laptops at home for 2 children and wasted all my time and effort. Teachers don't even have any basic IT training, students were not learning anything except chit-chating. I am so frustrated that I paid thousands for this! Its grossly unfair!

It’s currently a one way online learning. It should be more interactive to engage the kids, 2 ways via video conferencing. Otherwise they will definitely dwell off and lose focus. A discount is a definite. At least 50%

My 10 years boy is totally lost in this model. The quality is reduced far more than half. To be fair, TTL should cut the fees accordingly or allow kids who cannot follow to opt out.

The center needs to pay the teachers’ salaries and the rental. All savings..the discounted rental fee, electricity bill savings, water bill savings, printing costs savings, etc should be returned to parents.

Not only was it a poor digital solution, it was also poorly managed. Implementation of transition was poorly executed. I was informed 30mins before the lesson of where to go what to do and I was not even at home when informed. It was utterly disappointing coming from TLL which I do have high regards for

Please enforce some form of interactive learning with engagements with the students

I totally agree. This platform is not even a live session for learning and I cannot imagine paying hundreds for a lesson which merely gives instructions, that needs to be interpreted by the parents. Everyone is affected by COVID 19. Let’s pay it forward. Businesses also have to build goodwill during this period as workers are also affected. Give parents an option to suspend lessons but for those who are keen to continue elearning, by all means. Else provide an option for learning to be suspended.

I hope TLL can refund 50% of the current term fees as online is not as effective as face to face

I do not think it’s fair for parents to pay exorbitant fees to go through worksheets through a discussion forum. Refund parents the fees and continue lessons only after the closure is uplifted. This is the only fair thing to do now

Nan bei! Limpei today become technical support. $20 per lesson for online class is also too expensive. Your customer service is supposed to get back to me but did not. I had been calling since yesterday but they all transferred to voice mail! Even your teachers are not answering the calls.

Do not force parents to take up e-learning. Unless e-learning fee is reasonable, I want to withdraw for my son.

My boy had just finished the 1st hr of the HBL! OMG! It’s unacceptable! And worst thing is the scheduled hours clash with my boy other class! The delivery of the HBL is totally unacceptable considering that we are paying so much for 1 lesson!!!! I am fine if TLL defer the class til later date but u should not be forcing us to take this!

I do not want online learning session so I called them many times but their answering machine was very quick to reply that all their officers are busy. When I press the button to request for their officer to return calls, no return call until now. Poor services from Learning Lab. Can’t imagine such an established Centre can have such poor standard of service. This afternoon, my child did not attend their online service but had received an email from learning lab that he had successfully completed the online session. Really not an honest Centre.

The online distance learning is ineffective without live video streaming. Either refund the fees or please provide live video streaming interactive lessons via better video application like Zoom. Zoom allows the host presenter to control the video mode of all participants, prevent side forum chats and students engage real-time in lesson.
