The Learning Lab to allow postpone/refund fees [covid19]

Tll is a rip off

I had call Learning Lab many times since the whole of yesterday and today, but there is no one to pick up the calls. Had requested their officers to call back but never call back. Had email them that my child does not want online lessons and wanted a refund but there is no reply. My child had not done the online lessons but they had emailed me that they had successfully conducted lessons with my child. No integrity Centre.

Chee Bye Lab, you better give us a reasonable answer and refund us.

It is not efficient

My child was lost. No guidance and kid doesn't know what to do throughout.

This is not the time for you to still think of generating profits and profits only! Please let parents have a choice, allow us to withdraw from e-learning or the most, charge at 40% to 50% of regular lessons! By the way, we can never get through your customer service HOTLINE !!! I do not wish to disturb the teachers because it is not their fault. If I want e-learning, I would have just signed up from others that offer at $100 per month!!!

Bad planning and no refund when the service is so lousy! They just want to get our money!

Very disappointed at the arrangement of online class from TLL. The discussion set up simply isn’t working due to miss of interaction with students during the session and it seems the teacher is not well prepared for the class.

Not the teachers’ fault but the centre wanting to use their own proprietary platform on Canvas. Slow and I could see my son getting so bored 15min into the class!

Parents should be given choices to deal with this unfortunate situation. The options should include either to postpone the course to later date, or refund the cancelled course, or to provide an effective online course system with substantially discounted price. The current offered for P4 is only the online learning which is just a video recording and ppt showing the slides, with forum discussion, which is not effective at all. Further more, no price discount for the online course, except the 25% off for this term.

So disappointing. One of teacher even grouped all her p6 class tog and offer us only one time option which is a ridiculous one.

Can we have watchdog over all these barbaric tuition centres? This is Singapore and how can all these tuition centres simply do what they like! This is daylight robbery!!!

Please give us the option to stop participating in online learning. We are fine to stop tuition for a few months and rejoin regular classes in the future.

What a waste of time and money to have such a online class! Compared to my kid’s online classes from other enrichment centres, TLL’s is the worst! Cannot log in at the beginning, all communication via typing, no video of teacher conducting the class, not to mention no communication among teacher and students at all. First time to see such a quiet online class. We dun quite understand that being one of the most expensive tuition centres in Singapore, why TLL even can not afford a better online system to deliver a more proper online class experience to its students? We don’t feel TLL has delivered meet-the-expectation service, we hereby ask for the refund for the past and future classes.

Online learning is very inefficient

The elearning is not Well done and cost effective. Only communicating through texting words. Can use zoom like many other Tuition centre used.
