Anyone thinking of using legal means to deal with them since they are not listening anyway.

TLL online system respond time is slow. Also there is no virtual F2F with the teacher to guide them. It's just doing of worksheets. Not much a diff from getting my kid to do assessment books w answer sheets given. I am using many tuition centres for diff subjects. The way TLL handle the situation is very disappointing.

Just enrolled my children and immediately ask to perform online learning which are very ineffective!

I had the chance to observe my son doing his 360 TLL home-based learning session. In my opinion, this is not a pr oper e-learning platform, but a poor imitation of online discussion board/forum. As the saying, pay peanuts get monkey, at around S$110 per lesson, that amount can hardly be considered as peanuts by any tuition fee standard, but we're getting this 360 TLL monkey instead. I do not know how much of amount goes into your overhead running the classroom-based lessons, but the 360 is not an acceptable replacement, far from it. Both students and teachers are wasting their time, and I'm sure the teachers are also crippled by this tool. If home-based learning is not your forte, just suspend the lessons and refund us parents so we can reallocate that resources to pay other professionals instead. Do the right thing and we'll consider staying with you next term.

I have tried it before commenting and in my opinion, it is unfair to provide just 25% rebate. The forum and bulletin pales in comparison to live teaching. Waiting 5 - 10 mins for each student to finish each question?

We simply fell that TLL failed to have their BCP in place and they should have prepared in advance with their business resilience plan to cope with the pandemic, and the burden shall not be borne by the students nor the parents!

I really think tuition center should give more options to students rather than just one sided.

Will not recommend any parent send their kids to TLL. This company too commercial and strictly do not entertain refund no matter how reasonably we explain to them. My son’s full term’s fee been forfeited after attended only 3 lessons.

I hear that other classes have chat groups set up by their respective teachers. Notes were sent to them before classes so that the kids can print them before hand. The first 30min of my daughter's online class was wasted as all the kids scrambled to print stuff sent by their teacher. Her excuse was she didn't have their numbers. Then prrhaps she could find out before the class so that these kids can have their materials ready before the class?

Tll has left the poor teachers to scramble to set up their own online teaching. TLL360 is hardly interactive and i was so appalled to see its just a forum with the teacher typing and kids left to just read the notes and watch their own videos. If smaller tuition centres can give parents options to accept discount, postphone or halt lessons with refund. I don't see why TLL being a market leader can't offer parents the same. Come up with a better strategy or offer parents the option to halt classes please!

We paid alot not for online classes. Even my gym suspends membership when it's closed. Why should we settle for online classes. Be reasonable. We are paying a bomb!

Yes, discount should be given this term. My daughter had first online lesson on 27/3 (regular time) n today 2nd lesson as the discussion forum had to be split into 2 sessions n some kids were not even available for today. Quality of cos can’t be matched to a real classroom experience.

Terrible service, can’t get through to the hotline, don’t understand why the teacher has been changed.

It’s unreasonable and unfair to shove their inadequate HBL workarounds down parent’s throat. Businesses will be affected that is why government has stepped in to help. TLL is unethical to go ahead with rolling out HBL and forcing kids to adopt without first getting consent from parents. Yes TLL offered 25% towards next term but is that justifiable? Parents should have the right to accept or just SUSPEND as enforced by the government.
