Hamilton, I did not know that we parents appeared to be such dimwits that you are brushed us off with off with that email. You truly failed as a CEO. You are willing to lose future business with us than to accommodate with such simple requests of deferment. Good luck from next term onwards. Parents are not dumb.

TLL should provide option to rollover fees or get a refund should parents choose to exercise that option. The unilateral decision to arrange replacement classes at diff times without consultation from parents is disappointing and high handed.

Called up to give notice to withdraw, they said can process withdrawal over phone but not entitled to rebate anymore! But if withdraw later need to still serve notice, if any short notice, no refund of deposit!!! Both ways lost out! We are in dilema, to still do HBL or not? If do they may charge and deem that we accept the arrangement of 25% rebate which we do not want!!! We want replacement class or refund;!! But if don't do and all other parents do the HBL, we may miss out learning and yet no refund / replacement class! Can we go CASE or MP can help? Or NGO can advise??

Yes, the e-learning platform is not of acceptable standard. Neither is it effective at all. Echoed the view of other parents that the fee should be waive off.

Absolutely ineffective esp for primary school children.

Prefer real classroon classes.

So from Hamilton's email, TLL is "learning" how to conduct HBL at our expenses. They money I spent on TLL is for my children to learn, not for TLL to learn how to run a business. Refund or suspend remaining lessons please.

Charge only what one can deliver.

First of all, thanks to Shaun Chin for setting up this forum to gather voices. I had few email and tele-conversation exchanges with TLL last week pertaining to their approach in dealing with the suspension of center-based learning in response to the advisory by Ministry of Health. I am upset and had sounded my feedback to the TLL but was repeatedly told that there is no other option, except the distance learning via online discussion platform. 1) I am sure all, if not most, will agree with me that TLL tuition fees are at a premium. Paying premium, our expectations in terms of service quality and standards need to be justified. Fees are collected by term. At the point of payment, we paid for center-based learning. How can we be offered online learning with no choice and the only option is to ACCEPT? This is force-fitting and definitely not acceptable! 2) Given no choice, I decided to give the online e-learning a try else whatever I've paid will go to the drain! Well, while I acknowledge and emphatize with the challenges faced by the learning centers and teachers in response to the short notice on the class suspension, we need to make sense out of what we are offering. TLL has offered the learning via discussion tab in TLL360, which to me is no difference to whatsapp chatgroup or I thought it was worse-off as the user experience in the discussion platform was really unpleasant, having to keep refreshing and struggling to scroll to catch up with the latest feed. I got to say we are not here to put a tick in the box that lesson has been conducted, but to really create value for the children's learning. 3) Revenue is important to keep the business and jobs but TLL needs to put children's learning as key priority. Not overly business-oriented. I felt that there weren't proper BCP in placed by the TLL management and parents should not be penalized to accept a standard below our acceptance level. Not happy with current arrangement

Hamilton, you are still not listening. You are charging the parents too much. After all the complains you decide to move from forum board to zoom live learning and keep the child original time slot. How difficult was this to figure out right from the start. But you remain silent on the refunds. My child was not even able to attend the forum teaching and still expected to pay $80 for her to read herself later on? I want a full refund.

Online learning should just be an aid to ensure continued learning takes place during the period of class suspension. Based on the premium fees charged by TLL, the online learning CANNOT be used to REPLACE the physical lessons. To be line with other tuition centers, TLL should offer online learning AND 1 for 1 physical class replacements when the situation is under control. If they choose to offer fee rebate, the fee rebate offered is only 25% while other tuition centers offer full refund or at least 50% refund.

TLL!!!! Parents should pay 25% of course fees instead! We don't want the 25% of peanuts from u!! We want full replacement class or refund!!!!

TLL has sent a long email just toniggt. Still holding in to 25% rebate with unreasonable criteria to be eligible for clsim!! No option for deferment or refund or replacement claseses for p3 -P6!! Unscrupulous bizmen.!!! All out to eat our money! We want recourse!!! Refund !!!

Parents should be given an option to suspend or continue with HBL. Even if you eventually decide to introduce Zoom, it is still vastly different from classroom based. Please refund or charge reasonable fee for HBL.

Bad management! Lack support for teachers, students and parents!
