So many fake leads. People that supposedly were interested in my services and then ghost me? Really? And the expense to receive leads………..sickening. Horrible ROI!
And the reps, once you sign the contract go AWOL! You’ll never hear from them again! Reached out several times to discuss my agreement/contract and zero returned calls. This is fraud.

The knot has been scamming me since 2011, increasingly obvious as time went on. Fake leads, the wedding wire side especially, nobody ever responds, every once in a while you book a wedding, more often on the knot then wedding wire…. I would also get leads from brides that weren’t directed to me, and seemed as if it was not even an initial message, but a response to another vendors questions. They joined the political spectrum by giving options to select vendors by race ethnicity gender which is incredibly against my beliefs but stuck in contracts. Poor follow up on getting in touch with sales people who were always rotating. I tried to cancel the knot after cancelling wedding wire without any loss, they promised to cut the price in half, months and months later I realize they never changed it, unfortunately it was a phone call, but my complaint was documented and nothing was ever done about it. Eventually cancelled all, still get leads meant for other vendors and book as much as I did when paying for the service, just less scam leads then when I paid. The majority of the brides found me through other avenues though and only looked for me there to see reviews…. Wuit both almost a year now, busier than ever….

I am sure everyone is saying the same thing. They raise the ad costs constantly and never send notification. There is no itemized explanation. The sales reps turn over like crazy and force customers into a 30 minute zoom call for no reason. I’ve been advertising with them for years but I don’t want the fees to make my SMALL business profit cancel out. They need more advertising options and it does feel like a scam. It was $80 a month, then $103, then $111 and now suddenly it’s $173 a month to advertise. Why? They’ve never told me the fee is going up.

Our cancelation requests have gone completely ignored on four ad contracts. We are engaging our lawyers which we should have done long ago.

I've only been in my contract 1 month and I already see what's going on, but I don't intend to be bled dry. They're going to have to make some concessions.

I was told there was no minimum monthly contract, yet there it is in my account. I was also promised viable leads but have seen nothing but fake leads.

I have asked to cancel my subscription multiple times and they said I need to remove all wedding material from my website in order to cancel. This is even after my 12 month contract was over. I have not signed anything to keep this going, but they still refuse to cancel my monthly payments.
Not to mention I have not gotten anything out of marketing with them other than a few scam emails. My monthly payments have gone up in pricing without my consent. This company needs to be held accountably.
Thank you,
Jessica

I was a vendor in The Knot and Wedding Wire for many years. It stopped working after they merged, I only got 1 contact this year, I closed my account completely in Oct. They scammed me, The new contact in June was put thorough without my agreement, with higher charge that I agreed. And nobody returned my email and calls. It was exhausting. I wanted to close The Knot, and manager did not tell me it is not possible ( I found out only now in the comments here in the comment below, that it could not be done) . Instead she tricked me to stay promising bonuses and promotions I never received. After all of these they dear to send me a bill for overdue, though they actually owe me money. I have my emails I can prove everything. First I was trying nnot to pay what I "owe" . NOW I want a reimbursement from them since June 2024. If they ignore me I want to be a part of the class action! I also suspect that most of my leads after merge were fake. Before the merge of THE Knot and Wedding Wire everything worked fine, after that -no. And sometimes leads would just disappear before you write to them. And previose year was very low on leads too .

I was sold a bill of goods. Total waste of my employees' time, my time and money. Not one good lead when I I spent over $8,500 over 2 months for a premium listing, and guaranteed leads.

I'm a photographer who has paid a lot of money over the years to Wedding Wire. Most of the leads I get never respond back, and the rates just keep going up. Very tired of this.
