A completely predatory company that cons people into signing years-long contracts of the back of misinformation, withheld information, false promises, false leads, and lies.

The Knot - Wedding Wire - Wedding Pro totally lied to me regarding statistics about the weddings they get and totally mislead me regarding the number of inquires they receive for micro weddings which I do.
At least 10 ghost leads in a 2 week period. They lied and mislead me and unfortunately I agreed to a 360.00 a month package for absolutely no leads.
My budget can’t handle that monthly fee plus other red flags were appearing. Emailed three times to cancel contract. Will not cancel contract!

I signed up for their site. Only to get fake leads and zero revenue. Was told at signup that I could cancel anytime. Then when I went to cancel, was told it was a 12 month deal.

As someone who values small businesses, I believe platforms like The Knot should operate fairly and transparently. Vendors invest significant time and money into these services and deserve accountability when expectations are not met.

I was one of the vendors that didn’t have any ROI and I knew the leads where fake. My store front was elite and clear the leads where bad.

I joined The Knot to connect with real couples and grow my wedding planning business, but the vast majority of the leads I have received appear to be fraudulent. They follow the same pattern every time: the inquiry looks legitimate, conversations seem normal, and a consultation is scheduled, only for the “client” to insist at the last minute on using their own meeting link. The first time this happened, I opened the link and my computer was compromised, ultimately forcing me to replace it.

I was a member early with the Knot. The first year, I was able to get a couple of events from the leads. When I renewed my membership, I started receiving leads that it was either the wrong phone number or emails would bounce back. For over a year, I was not able to make actual contact with 1 lead! I tried to cancel my membership 2 weeks before my next renewal. They told me I’d had to be in writing. So I sent an email but hey claimed they never received it & renewed my membership anyway.

They said that we would get so many leads, we put up high quality ad content and got 3 leads, 2 of which were scams and 1 was unqualified, over a 4 month period. They were charging us hundreds of dollars per month for leads that didn't exist and gave outlandish lead claims when trying to bring us on. Huge scam

As a small business owner, I signed up with the knot when trying to cancel they will not let me cancel. I’ve tried to lose their marking rules and have only got no more than 10 leads in the last four months.

I am a Brazilian BBQ catering company owner in Danbury, CT. I was sold a $7,473.60 contract by WeddingPro rep Brooke Terry on February 17, 2026 under time-pressured pricing — told the discount would disappear if I didn't sign that day. After 4 months I have received zero legitimate leads, zero bookings, and was nearly scammed twice through the platform. I emailed my sales rep twice in writing about the zero results and spam — she never responded. I am now being threatened with collections. This is the exact predatory pattern described in this petition. It's time for accountability

I was a knot.com/ wedding wire subscriber who broke out of my contract to avoid more charges and fake leads. It was a nightmare to get a hold of them, to get out, and eventually I had to threaten legal action. I spent hundreds of dollars for nothing but fake leads.

Absolute garbage, zero good leads that actually transpired into anything and bulldozer tactics if you wanted to cancel your membership. When Carly owned it it was at least a bit better.

As a musician who was coerced to accept their "over the phone 'deal', I received not one real business lead. Every false lead turned into a colossal waste of time and that's exactly what this website is for any vendors. This website has only caused trust issues within my business. I want my money back and they're claiming they're sending me to collections. I am here to help steer others away from this trap.

I have been locked into contracts since they began in 1996. There was a time that it was OK but now I receive nothing but scam inquiries and I've had no contracts from them for at least six months. I have zero business from them. And yet I'm paying $442 a month and if I'm two days late, they let me know. I am underwater with what I paid to what I get out of it. They do nothing to help me.
